Never without her close-to-exploding notepad as she shuttles from meeting to meeting, she is still thrilled to hear from users: Jeffrey Stevens - Founder Former journalist Jeff Stevens' passion for crunching difficult stuff into user-friendly formats and his sixth sense for telling bull-dust from gold-dust led him, inevitably, to the world of consumer comparisons. A brief history of time

The Choose network of consumer comparison and review sites grew from the seeds of a small DVD Rental comparison site called ChooseDVDRental.co.uk back in the dark ages (well, June 2004 to be precise).

Hot on its heels, ChooseISP.co.uk was launched.

It quickly gathered pace and earned itself a reputation for its super-powerful comparison engine and its close-to-the-bone package reviews.

While ChooseISP and ChooseDVDRental were picking up accolades and winning fans, ChooseMoney.co.uk was launched and quickly gathered a loyal band of users who found the highly user-focussed search and thoroughly comprehensive comparison results a refreshing - and helpful - change from the majority of big comparison sites.

With ChooseISP's branding redesign in the summer of 2007, and a total streamlining (dial-up and business comparisons were dropped in favour of providing a more concentrated and efficient service), the site continues to grow and improve with a bustling team of writers, developers and broadband testers.
