IF you're looking for a new broadband provider, there is no time like the present to snap up a brilliant broadband deal. Here, Julia Kukiewicz looks at the best broadband deals ending soon.
O2 Price drop for non-O2 customers
O2 Broadband has suddenly become even better value than it already is, with the price of its super-fast and highly recommended broadband packages for non-O2 customers being slashed by £5 a month, making it now just £5 a month more than the lucky O2 customers who get the packages dirt cheap.
Virgin Media create UK's cheapest broadband deal
VIRGIN Media have created one of the UK's cheapest broadband packages, offering cable broadband speeds for just £4.50 a month if customers take a Virgin Media cable home phone package for £11 too.

BROADBAND special deals are great, but they don’t hang around for long. That’s why we’ve trawled the virtual bargain bins of the broadband world and put together a selection of the best broadband deals ending soon!
Ending soon are the best broadband deals from O2 Broadband, Virgin Media and AOL / Carphone Warehouse’s Free Laptop offer.
Broadband Deal Ending Soon: O2 Broadband cheaper packages
In the build-up to the launch of the new iPhone, mobile provider O2 launched some of the most impressive broadband packages on the market, boasting speeds of up to 20Mb and offering superb customer service and smorgasboard of cool extras.
These O2 broadband packages were specifically designed with O2 mobile customers in mind, as new and existing O2 mobile customers could get O2 broadband for £10 cheaper per month than the poor sods who didn’t use O2 as their phone provider.
But recently, O2 Broadband reduced the price for non-O2 customer’s too, bringing the difference per month to just £5, instead of £10.
This price cut by O2 Broadband has suddenly made O2 Broadband perhaps the best value broadband provider in the UK.
What’s more, this is no sneaky introductory price where you’re tempted into a low fee for the first 3 months so it looks great in adverts, but then hikes up to double the price after 12 months (we’re not mentioning any names, but a big culprit here is a certain provider that starts with a ‘T’ and ends with an ‘iscali’!).
So long as you sign up before the broadband deal ends, you’ll get to keep that reduced price for the entire duration of the broadband contract.
But hurry, the offer is only available until the end of April. Just the excuse you need to splurge out on an iPhone!
Offer ends: 30 April 2008
Broadband Deal Ending Soon: Virgin Media £4.50
Virgin Media always seem to have some cracking broadband deals on.
Take their £4.50, 2Mb broadband and phone offer for a prime example. Although customers subscribing to this deal will have to sign up to Virgin Media’s £11 home phone package, no line rental is required, saving you £11 anyway!
The total monthly cost for this broadband deal comes out at £15.50 a month (£211 for the first year).
However if you stick it out with Virgin Media for a second year, the price does decrease by £25, bringing to the total annual cost down to £186.
Bear in mind that good things like this don’t last forever, and this broadband offer, along with Virgin Media’s 4Mb and 20Mb broadband and phone offers are slated to finish on 31 January 2008 31 March 2008.

Broadband Deal Ending Soon: AOL free laptop (and free PS3) with Carphone Warehouse
Another broadband offer ending soon is the much talked about AOL free laptop/Playstation 3 offer, in conjunction with the Carphone Warehouse which now owns AOL.
From £19.99 a month you’ll receive 8Mb broadband, 40GB download allowance, a free wireless router and a choice of either a free Playstation 3, or a free Dell laptop.
If your current broadband subscription is ending in the next two months, you’ve just about got enough time to take advantage of this little gem from AOL.
Offer ends: 31 March 2008
Broadband Deal Ending Soon: O2 Broadband Free Activation
With their 100 day moneyback guarantee now a thing of the past (it expired on 31 January 2008), O2 Broadband still has another broadband deal worth looking at - and you still have time as it only expires at the end of March.
New users to the O2 Broadband service will not have to pay any setup or activation fees if the order is placed before the end of March.
Activation fees usually hover around the £47 price mark, so O2 Broadband is offering quite a saving here.
While there are a number of other broadband providers who don't charge for setup or activation, it is worth pointing out that no other broadband provider comes close to offering quite what O2 Broadband offer. As such, this waiving of the activation fee is certainly noteworthy.
Offer ends: 31 March 2008
