Broadband guru Anna König sheds some light for you...

What does it cost to reconnect to BT?

I am currently with TalkTalk and my contract is past the 18 month period so I am looking to switch to a new broadband provider, however my BT line was switched to them when I signed up with TalkTalk which would mean I would have to change back to BT line. Is there a fee for this?
Roy Berwick, UK

I spoke to our contact at BT who informed me that so long as you have a dialling tone on your phone, it is likely that you won't have to pay a penny to get your line switched over to BT again.

You will however have to start paying your line rental (we recommend paying this by Direct Debit to keep the price at £10.50, rather than £11.75), cost of calls and any other services that you'll require from BT (such as caller ID, call blocking etc.) read more

You need to unlock it! Here's how...
