O2 Broadband drops prices for non-O2 mobile customers
Non O2 mobile phone customers are being let into the cheap O2 Broadband camp with O2 cutting the prices of their packages by £5 for a limited period.

Is O2 Broadband any good?
After entering the broadband arena quietly last year, O2 Broadband has proved to be a formidable provider, knocking the socks off its rivals. Is O2 Broadband any good? Neil Hawkins has the obvious answer.

TIME is running out to take advantage of O2 Broadband’s reduced price offer for its high-speed broadband packages. The deal is set to end at the end of this month.

O2 Broadband currently offers a £5 discount off all of its three broadband packages, Standard, Premium and Ultimate, but this offer expires on the 30th April.

Big Discounts

On top of this discount, O2 mobile users get an additional £5 off every month making O2 Broadband one of, if not the, best value broadband deals around at the moment.

Offering unlimited usage at speeds of up to 8Mbps, 16Mbps and 20Mbps for £12.50, £15 and £20 per month respectively it’s easy to see why the fledgling broadband provider is fast establishing a name for itself.

Solid all-round package

Not only are O2 Broadband’s packages great value for money but unlike some broadband providers its customer support or broadband reliability rarely suffer as a result.

O2 utilise the network of sister broadband provider Be Broadband who also, by no coincidence, have a great reputation and a cult following with enthusiasm akin to that of Apple fanatics.

Customer support is open 24/7 and free, whilst until the end of June there is no connection fee to pay, you do have to sign a 12 month contract but you’ve also got a 50 day money back garentee in case you change your mind.

Price cut addicts

As you might have heard in the news this week, O2 have also been cutting prices elsewhere (maybe they’re addicted?) O2 stores across the country have been reporting a huge spike in iPhone sales as the price has been slashed by £100.

This price cut wasn’t one that Apple matched as the iPhone still goes for full price in Apple Stores; this illustrates the lengths that O2 will go to prove an offer to the consumer, which surely can only be a good thing.

O2 broadband hasn’t even been in the market for a year but already it has proved itself as a formidable supplier of super fast ADSL2+ broadband.

The broadband provider was recently placed amongst the top 5 in the UK by Epitiro for its technical capacity.

So to coin a phrase of a close rival, ‘The future’s bright’.
