IN this age of pretty much standard 8Mb connections, it's hard to imagine who would willingly opt for a relatively snail-paced 512Kb broadband connection, and then pay over the odds for it too.
Sure, there are good reasons to choose Fasthosts as your broadband provider.
Free hosting and free domain
For one, getting your broadband from a dedicated web hosting provider like Fasthosts brings with it a bunch of noteworthy extras such as a free domain name and free Fasthosts web hosting (including 1 FTP account) as well as a raft of professional features such as Fasthost's very impressive email setup.
Disappointing
However, with many other broadband companies offering free webspace with their broadband packages and the relatively cheap annual costs of domain names, when push comes to shove the Fasthosts Broadband 512 is still a rather expensive and disappointingly slow connection.
Unless you are a huge fan of Fasthosts - and they do have an excellent reputation - we'd suggest you look elsewhere for a faster and slightly cheaper broadband connection.
