WE can’t imagine why anyone would call their broadband company Nildram, but despite the clanging image it creates in your mind’s eye when you say it, Nildram remains one of the UK’s favourite broadband providers, not least because of its high-quality, low-hype broadband packages like this Homeworker Lite2Go package.
As the name implies, this is takeaway broadband, or more accurately Pay As You Go broadband.
Pay as you go
You’ll get the normal Nildram up-to-8MB speeds as well as a 1GB inclusive usage allowance for peak times (off peak is totally unlimited), but all additional usage will be paid for as you go.
We’re big fans of a the PAYG model for broadband as it very often works out cheaper than the broadband packages offering unlimited downloads.
With Nildram Homeworker Lite2Go you’ll pay just 99p per extra GB of data used, automatically charged in 2GB increments.
Free calls
Nildram Homeworker Lite2Go includes all the features that have made Nildram such a favourite, including 500 minutes of free UK landline calls, dial-up backup for when the Nildram broadband connection goes down, ‘callback’ support so you don’t have to wait in phone queues anymore as well as a clutch of other extras.
3 month contract
Keep in mind that while this used to be a contract-free broadband package, the minimum contract is now 3 months.
This does mean you’ll have to buy a modem (this can be done during signup, or you can get a free wireless router if you opt for a 12 month contract instead).
Quite unusually for a low contract period broadband package, setup for this Nildram Homeworker Lite2Go is now absolutely free.
