WHEN it comes to broadband, phone and TV bundles, Sky is currently the clear frontrunner, if for nothing more than their brilliantly flexible options to create the bundle package that perfectly suits your own tastes, requirements and - most importantly - budget.
Exceptionally good value
This Sky See, Speak & Surf Base 3 broadband bundle is exceptionally good value, especially in terms of what you get on the TV front.
Your free Sky broadband part of the bundle is the basic Sky Base package which offers speeds of up to 2Mb with a 2Gb monthly usage allowance.
Free wireless router
This usage allowance is probably not suitable for someone who sits online all day, but it's more than ample for basic web browsing and emailing.
You'll also get a cool wireless router thrown in free!
The home phone option bundled with this package is Sky's FreeTime, which promises free evening and weekend calls to all UK landlines. Call costs at all other times are very reasonable too, but you can always upgrade the phone package to Talk Unlimited which doesn't pump the price up by too much.
See TV
It's the 'See' part of this Sky package that makes this See, Speak & Surf Base 3 bundle such a great package.
You get to all six of Sky's 'packs', which include:

- News & Events
- Knowledge
- Music
- Kids
- Style & Culture
You can lower the cost of this Sky package by dropping any of the above packs during signup. Roughly it saves about £1 per month per mix.
At such a low reduction, its probably not worth doing, but if you're looking after the pennies, it's great to have that option.
As an additional extra each month you can optionally add Sky Sports and/or Sky Movies to your TV package.
Subscription free Sky+
There is also the option to buy a Sky+ box (currently £99), which is now subscription-free so it is just a one-off charge.
You can also go for the Sky HD Box which is more expensive and has a monthly subscription fee, but holy moly, have you seen the quality of the High Def broadcasts? Just saying that its four times crisper than a normal TV picture simply doesn't do it justice.
After you've tasted HD, going back to normal TV is like trying on the coke-bottle glasses of the divvy kid at school.
Outstanding value
As a bundle package this Sky See, Speak & Surf package is indeed outstanding value for money, but do keep in mind the need for BT line rental in order to receive it.
