SKY'S fantastic 'See, Speak & Surf' broadband bundle brand has a nice ring to it but for the less talkative amongst you here's Sky's simple 'See & Surf Base' broadband deal.

If you scroll down to the bottom of the page you'll see we've split the deal into the two reasonably-priced HD and non-HD options but you can also add extra channels when you sign up.

Top notch

This Sky See & Surf Base 1 broadband bundle offers Sky broadband and Sky's top-notch digital TV but ditches the home phone option, saving you a fair amount in the process.

The Sky broadband part of this Sky bundle is the very basic Sky Base package which gives speeds of up to 2Mb with a monthly usage allowance of 2GB. Bear in mind that you'll still need a BT landline to receive this service.

Basic browsing

This is probably not suitable for heavy web users, but is absolutely fine for basic browsing and emailing and will even allow you to download as many as 500 music tracks.

The 'See' part of this two-part package is your Sky TV choice, and here you get to choose at least 1 'pack' - as Sky likes to call them.

There are six packs available: variety; news & events; music; knowledge; kids and style & culture.

Specialist channels not included in the packs, such as Sky sports, will mean an extra monthly cost - usually around 50p more a day - but Sky will often knock some money off if you're choosing a number of extras.

We've listed some popular TV bundles so that you can see how it adds up but there are far more combinations then we could list so take a look at Sky's product builder (just click the 'sign up' link) to see more.

High definition

As you can see from the above, you'll pay an extra £10 per month to get your telly in eye-poppingly clear high-definition.

The Sky+ HD Box is currently free when you take HD - it'll set you back £49 if you don't so you effectively get higher quality without paying extra, at least for the first five months of your contract!

All you need to do is make sure you have a HD-ready TV.

All in all, this TV and broadband-only bundle package this is excellent value for money from Sky but bear in mind that you'll get the best value for money when you join online because set-up will be free.
