IF we forget for an instant Tesco's bad reputation for ruthless annihilation of local grocers across the country, we do concede that they know how to offer quality products at very good prices.
So why then are the Tesco broadband packages so very mediocre?
Nowhere near great
This Tesco 2Mb package with 10GB monthly usage allowance is not bad, but it is nowhere close to being called great, and only just remains competitive in the UK's very vibrant broadband marketplace.
Generous
Tesco broadband's 10GB download limit is admittedly quite generous and is actually better than the fair use policies of some other so called 'unlimited' packages, but when you look at this Tesco broadband package alongside its rivals it is neither the cheapest nor anything like the best.
One for die-hard Tesco lovers only, we think.
