toucan 8mb + toucantalk 2 broadband bundle - sign up now

  • Low cost Toucan 8Mb unlimited broadband
  • Cheaper evening and weekend calls to UK landlines
  • Free modem when you sign up online
  • Extremely cheap line rental (£8.99)
  • 5 email address & 25MB webspace

WANT to know why Toucan receives such face-gurningly awful reviews from users?

It all stems from Toucan's rather ridiculously limiting fair use policy.

Banish you

Unlimited it may be, but use more than 1GB per week in peak times, and Toucan will banish you to the back of the broadband queue where you'll be experiencing nostalgic dial-up speeds again for a while.

A decent package

So if you aren't planning to use your Toucan broadband connection heavily between 6pm and 11pm in the evenings - and you don't mind that Toucan is notoriously poor on the customer service front - the 8Mb Broadband and ToucanTalk Saver package is actually a decent one.

You get a low cost Toucan 8Mb broadband package with free modem, as well as up to 60 minutes talktime to UK landlines during evenings and weekends for just 3p (and then 1p per minute thereafter) as part of the bundled Toucan homephone package.

Low cost line rental

The caveat to this is that you must take your line rental with Toucan.

Not that this is anything to worry about as it's currently the UK's cheapest line rental.

"Avoid Toucan. Bad technical support, dont speak english and prolong the calls on a premium rate number. Toucan customer services totally unable to do anything right. They are so bad I made a video about choosing an ISP: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YkPWc1xPwhA"
