IT'S been a while since we have seen such an expensive broadband package, but Zen's top-of-the-pile 8000 Pro package is designed for web users who demand the very best in service and speed.
Customer service
We'd argue that it is probably only worth forking out this much for a broadband connection these days if reliability and customer service are more important to you than anything else.
After all, this Zen 8000 Pro is not even an unlimited package - although it could be argued that with a usage allowance of a massive 50GB, this is in fact better than a so-called 'unlimited' package because it's far more generous than most fair usage policies.
Worth noting is that Zen allows totally unlimited uploads on all its packages.
One month contract
Being a one month contract means you can leave Zen at any time, but you will have to provide your own modem.
On balance we'd say the Zen 8000 Pro is more suited to home workers (who'll be pleased with the choice of 1 or 8 free static IP addresses) than to families or general web users, especially with a price like that.
