 Toucan BroadbandToucan BroadbandToucan no longer offers broadband or phone packages to new customers. Toucan was bought out by Pipex in the third quarter of 2006, and all Toucan customers were fully migrated over to the Pipex system by quarter one 2009. Existing Toucan customers can now manage their accounts and request any customer support through Pipex (www.pipexuk.com/toucan-information/). Pipex was bought out by Tiscali in the first quarter of 2008, and the Pipex brand now only provides business broadband connections. All Pipex consumer customers, including Toucan customers, have since been migrated to the Tiscali network. However, existing customer accounts are still being managed under the Pipex brand and existing customers can still access package upgrades through Pipex. More recently, Pipex's parent company Tiscali was bought out by Carphone Warehouse (TalkTalk) in the first quarter of 2009.
